Awkwafina She is an American singer and performer who started her career by performing clever raps that delved into racial and sexuality with the most comical of perspectives. She then expanded to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism and women's studies, and was doing Mandarin in Beijing for a short time. Then, after graduation, when she decided to turn her attention towards music. Following her viral success on the Internet Her track My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually was included on her first album Yellow Ranger. It also included other sensational hits such as body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. This track was directly linked to her other venture, Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, which was published in 2015. In addition to being a writer and musician in her portfolio, she decided to decided to focus on becoming acting in a third project. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she has also appeared in films like Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she landed numerous notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. Her EP came out, In Fina We Trust in June of that year.
