Sharon Yvonne Stone is the only child from Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee in a manufacturing plant. Sharon was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten when she was five. Saegertown Senior High School, Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she received her diploma in 1975. Winner of Miss Crawford County, she was also a part of her first Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant. Stone together with her Aunt in 1977, moved into New Jersey for a modeling job. Stone signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week further. She soon relocated to Europe for a time, and lived with her aunt in Milan and Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the world of modeling and modeling in Europe and decided to take up acting while in the country. Woody Allen's film, "Stardust Memories", got mixed praise in her 20s.
